Private Collections

5 April, 2017

PRIVATE COLLECTIONS is a prestigious and unique San Francisco event. Every spring a diverse group of San Francisco’s most passionate art collectors open their homes to share their exceptional collections with the public, and raise awareness for Enterprise for Youth. Art collectors showcase their exceptional collections in the privacy of their home. Seeing the exquisite collections in person is only part of the experience; hearing the collectors personal stories of the relationships they developed with the artists, gallerists and curators along the way brings the work to life.

All proceeds from this event benefit Enterprise for Youth development programs.

“What a delightful evening in The Presidio Terrace. The home, the art and the guide were beyond my expectations. The art collection was very unique, a niche space in the art world, and I feel so lucky to have learned more about it. We didn’t get to meet the owners of the collection but our guide was so very knowledgeable and had great respect for the pieces and the collection. It really felt like I was on a private tour in a small museum, which, in a way, I was! I also loved learning more about Enterprise and meeting a high school student that partakes in the program. What a treat to be welcomed into such a gorgeous home and to see and learn more about this particular collection. I look forward to next year!”

“Each year I think the art tour can’t be better than what I had seen the previous year but last night was amazing and memorable….the home…..the setting…and the art…..absolutely the most fabulous. How lucky to be able to see such a home and art like that outside of any museum setting and hear the owner tell us all about it…..the history of the paintings and stories of the artists make it fascinating……and Clint Reilly’s passion for his collecting is wonderful to hear. Private Collections… The best kind of evening from start to finish…….my favorite!”
